Do you think mental health issues and emotional coping issues etc should be taught at school? We get taught about our bodies and health do you think mental health should be taught as well? Considering at some point of our lives we'll go thru these battles

Great question. As a soon to be primary school teacher, i think that mental health issues should be incorporated in everyday teaching. This includes but is not limited to, when particular issues of concern occur (natural and man made disasters etc) as well as more typical concerns, (such as coping with stress and stress-ors, family issues and bullying as well as self esteem and respect) should be and hopefully are naturally practiced and addressed. For upper grades, when addressing with changing of our bodies i think that mental heath and wellbeing should be touched on too and students made aware that there are places and support mechanisms out there to be utilised if they feel the need.

Ask me anything, ill be honest~
