Is your life anything like it was 2 years ago? -Marzy19

definitely not, 2 years ago I was full time at uni (I'm now graduated), still with my long term bf (who is now an ex), was riding competitively (Bertie has now passed away due to illness)

Do you think that a woman who hires a nanny or carer to look after her children daily is any less of a mother than one who stays at home every day, or only uses child care when they have to?

Definitely not, staying home is not an option for some mothers, working to keep food on the table and a roof over their head does not make them less of a mother

Have you ever met someone who would say is just a bad parent?

"bad" is difficult to measure, but I saw on Dr Phil once a woman who made her son kill his pet hamster because he didn't do his home work. This would fall into the "bad" category

This Weeks Make-Up Practice

Apologies for so few posts of late, things have been keeping me from writing but thought I would share what I have been up to with my face.

Graveyard Tea Time in Melbournes General Cemetery looked something like this
(Lunching in cemeteries was not always the cringe-inducing activity it is today. The Victorians loved a good shady spot under a tree to enjoy the more park-like cemeteries that developed in America around the mid-1800s — they were intended to be recreational areas for people to visit the dead and enjoy some leisure activities.) :

Below I'm practicing for 'Cinco de Mayo Celebrations on the 5th of May but if you can read Mexican you already know that. ( Essentially it commemorates the Mexican army's 1862 victory over France at the Battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War (1861-1867). A relatively minor holiday in Mexico, in the United States Cinco de Mayo has evolved into a celebration of Mexican culture and heritage but here in Australia it's another excuse to dress up, drink tequila and wear sombreros )

And this is me getting ready to go to Cabaret Nocturne on Thursday night, I'm still missing my lip stick which was red and my hair isn't done but for Requiem  Saturday I have a "finished" shot for you all.

What's the nicest thing someone's ever done for you?

A long time ago a stranger bought me band-aid after my new shoes I wore out made my feet bleed.

Ask me anything, nice or not, I'll be honest~

So I want to take a girl out for dinner. But I have no idea where to take her. Any ideas? lol

Noticing that this was asked five wks ago, it's likely it doesn't matter any more but if you want to take her out for cocktails, New Gold mountain would be my suggestion

Something you are working on right now? -Marzy19

finding full or part time work, currently organising youth events for a council

Would you be a good babysitter?

Definitely , I get paid very well for my skills ;)

Belated New Years Eve Post!!

Hope everyone had a safe and happy new year!

I had a wonderful time packing and getting read to go to Inverlock (2 hours south-east of Melbourne) and shock horror- it's a beach side town!
In order to save my porcelain skin, tonnes of sunscreen was packed including sun umbrella, long sleeve cotton tops and four litres of pre mixed vodka in a cask ( classy thing I am) as wello as a bottle of Malibu ( coconut rum).
We ( the bf and 1) were lucky enough to borrow a medium size 4WD who is regularly serviced with air con, because lets face it, my little Pulsar may not have survived the return trip.
Beside a few scenic detours ( my directions were flawless besides a few little mistakes) we made it to the beach house in great time.

First thing was first was to grab a drink and unpack the car and once the sunscreen was applied and swim suit on it was to the beach we go!
The beautiful clean beach!

Lots of rules to attend the beach!

My mad photography skills, lol!
New Years Eve on the beach with new friends

Makes no sense to take vodka to the beach to a beer will do instead!
This is the last photo of my earrings, from this point onwards they went missing. I was so sad, they were very special, silver hoops with diamonties all the way around. I looked for them the next morning but no luck :(

The very nice house we stayed in with 12 other people who were all really nice!!!
