Sydney Trip Part 1
After kissing all my fur kids good bye and telling them to be good for Mum and Dad, Ajax and I jumped in the car with our hand luggage and travelled to Melbourne Airport.
Feeling nervous b/c we didn't have tickets, only a print out from the carrier web site, we tentatively approched the check in area and everything was fine.
At security, we had to take off our shoes & belts, I also have to take off my penticle necklace which is very hard to take on and off since it is so tight and it messes up my hair and make up! Grrrr
Ajax was stopped and had to have this stuff gone though, apparently it was his metal drawing thing he had in a pencil case was the culperate!
Our plane while we were waiting to jump on.
Walking across the tarmac to get on the plane, the plane before was not the plane we were going to board, we were first in the line and I was excited.
I was very nervous, it's been a l-o-n-g time since I have flown and I think Ajax found it quietly amusing that I was a bit scared but relived when I relaxed once we were in the air and removed my hand from his leg, as I think my fingers may have left permenment bruising ( opps sorry!!)
Once we were on the plane we settled in and had some nice seats very close to the front of the plane, this was very useful for looking at the Stewards which was very nice since they were very easy on the eye.
We also saw the pliot come out of his caborn to use the bathroom, we had seen someone already go in there so we had a little chuckle to oursevels when they unlocked it from the outside and almost walked in on another passanger!! teehee
Being tourists we thought we should take the obligatory photo:
Did you know that the taxis in Sydney are WHITE??? What the??
Also they have a pretty roof outside the airport, oh look whos that in the photo??

Sewing Experiements
Sonic's Dog coat:
He has a very short coat, and in the freezing winter where I live, i thought he could do with a nice warm one.
Step 1: Take scraps of fabric
Step 2: Cut out squares and sew together to make a patch work
Step 3: Find padding material and lining and cut to shape.
Step 4: Sew together and add velcro attachments.

Do you think mental health issues and emotional coping issues etc should be taught at school? We get taught about our bodies and health do you think mental health should be taught as well? Considering at some point of our lives we'll go thru these battles
Great question. As a soon to be primary school teacher, i think that mental health issues should be incorporated in everyday teaching. This includes but is not limited to, when particular issues of concern occur (natural and man made disasters etc) as well as more typical concerns, (such as coping with stress and stress-ors, family issues and bullying as well as self esteem and respect) should be and hopefully are naturally practiced and addressed. For upper grades, when addressing with changing of our bodies i think that mental heath and wellbeing should be touched on too and students made aware that there are places and support mechanisms out there to be utilised if they feel the need.
